Mandy is our Manager and Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator (SENCo). She holds a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Eductors, and has been at Broadbottom Pre-School since 2007. Both of Mandy’s children attended the Pre-School and are now grown up. Mandy enjoys going on walks, watching the children flourish and seeing how confident they are when they move on to their new adventures.
Clare is our Deputy Manager, a trained SENDCo, as well as our designated Safeguarding Lead. She also holds a NVQ Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Educators. Clare has 14 years experience with young children and has 2 children of her own. Clare enjoys going on adventures in the local area, phonics, baking and getting messy!!
Jade has worked in early years for 16 years and we are very proud to say she has also recently completed her NVQ Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Educators, whilst continuing to work at pre-school. Jade enjoys storytime, crafts and playing “What Time is it, Mr Wolf?”
James has 3 years experience working within the Early Years setting. James enjoys going on walks, playing board games and reading stories.
We are also very pleased to have welcomed Melissa to our team in February 2025. Melissa also holds a NVQ Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Educators. She has many years experience as a teacher.
Our staff attend regular training sessions and courses to support their professional development and to keep abreast of new legislation and areas of teaching and learning.
