Broadbottom Pre-School is run by a committee of parents who are appointed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), usually held in the Autumn term. Parents are welcome to attend the AGM, as well as any of our Committee meetings throughout the year, which are always very informal.

The Committee has at least 3 members – the Chair, the Secretary and the Treasurer, as well as other General Committee Members if numbers permit. Together, they work with Pre-School Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the setting runs smoothly and is sustainable as a charity business. Committee members generally have some knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and will have privilege to Pre-School’s financial situation. They are also take part in helping with our fundraising events, which all parents are encouraged to be involved with and can opt to join our Fundraising Whatsapp group (speak to Clare).

It is important to mention that the Committee is a vital part of Pre-School, and that we cannot operate without our Committee.



The Committee (24/25) is currently made up of 3 members Vicki (our Chair), Jade (our Secretary) and April (our Treasurer). They are always happy to welcome new members as General Committee Members.
