We aim to go out on walks 2-3 times per week. We go out in all weathers so don’t forget those wellies! Please ensure your little ones wear long sleeves and long trousers – to protect arms and legs and suitable waterproof coat. Children will be encouraged to wear a high vis vest for safety.
During our walks we look for signs of seasonal change, learn about the countryside code and often have an adventure or two!! We encourage children to risk assess, climb safely and check for dangers. We encourage vocabulary, creativity, and understanding of the world around us. We also sneak a bit of maths and literacy in there when they least expect it!
